Dollhouse Miniature Bedroom Makeover & Dollhouse Miniature Detective Room! Re-Ment Detective Room Kit

 Welcome friends great to see you! Today I am sharing a short video (above). This is a quick share of a bedroom makeover and detective office room scene. 

Here you will see a view looking in. I choose softer muted colors in this bedroom scene. I enjoyed choosing pieces from my collection to bring this together.  

This wooden house that sits at the end of the bed I found at the thrift store. It was a great find from the bag section. This hand painted piece gives country rustic styling. With the simple brown roof robins egg blue shell color and details of faux windows and double doors. It was perfect. Even the little heart detail above the door is so charming.

Here you will see a closer look of the bed. This was a ebay find made by hand. Its pink wooden head board and beautifully detailed comforter bring it all together. The doll and bunny were thrift store finds hand made with fabric and wooden beads for the doll. 

The potted plant is a cap from a discarded beauty product and plant from one of my bouquets at home. I put a dress on a hanger on the outside of the double door armoire that opens. The chair and book provided a reading area. The carpet was hand made and sent to me as a gift. 

The light pink and purple dresser with floral details was a thrift store. The picture on the wall in from my crafting supplies. All the table top items I had found on Shein and Temu. 

This detective room scene is from a Re-Ment Detective Room box kit I found on Amazon. I was delighted with all the detailed pieces. I scales do vary from piece by piece but they all worked out beautifully.

Here is a closer look to one of the little table settings that I created with the kit. It's very realistic and bring life to the room scene. The book that is open with the gun inside is priceless. 

Lastly, a closer look at the desk. Everything you see is from the kit. This includes the desk, chair, and everything on it and around it.

Dollhouse Miniatures That Can Be Found In Michaels By Make Market Brand

 It has become more challenging to find Dollhouse Miniatures locally.

Hobby Lobby used to have a abundant display that now has dwindled to almost nothing. So, I spread my wings to see who could feed my Dollhouse Miniature needs in my area. I searched and found no near by Dollhouse Miniatures stores. I sat in my comfy chair and searched on Michaels websites Bingo!! They carry the brand Make Market noting their items change up seasonally. Their sizes vary in scale as well.

I found these ornate gold framed mirrors that worked perfectly in my 1:12 scale Dollhouse House's. They are made of high quality and had weight to them.

They had this charming making cookies display that can simply be placed on a kitchen counter no muss or fuss. It was a great 1:12 scale item. 

On the video you will have a closer look at the Bar cart. It has the trolly with handle bar, ice bucket w/ice, 2 ornate bottles that look filled, and 2 faux glass cups that work in 1:12 scale. I like that it has space underneath for more items in my collection. I will note the wheels do not move. I like that for myself. 

This 3 piece wooden framed lemon trio was so interesting to me I couldn't leave it behind. The vibrant colors drew me in and 1:12 scale fit was perfect. A perfect addition for a summer project.

They currently have (12" x 12" Miniature Prints Paper Pad by Recollections™, 58 Sheets item # 10750706) that I have in my cart. If I get it you will see it in a future post. The miniature prints are very interesting. Although, I haven't seen it in person they look like a great fit for 1:12. Enjoy the video above.

 Although, the Dollar Tree Store doesn't have anything for a $1.00 anymore you can still find great deals for your home. When a family lives paycheck to paycheck the Dollar Tree Store can be helpful. You would be surprised to see how many store close out deals are from Walmart, Target and other big box stores land at the Dollar Tree Store.

Dollhouse Miniature Ebay Treasures

 It's January 18, 2026 and I started to go through some of my treasures that had been placed in the basement. This particular video I'm sharing my Ebay Dollhouse Miniature purchases I made many moons ago. I'm embarrased to say that I have a large portion of my collection in boxes and bags.

They sat quietly for me till I was ready to embrace my hobby again. As most miniaturist we have seasons in our lives were our hobby gets placed in the back burner. Some of the seasons in my life lasted a year to a few years in between. Regardless, Dollhouse Miniature's has always been a constant for me. This hobby started 39 years ago for me. 

This particular piece is beautiful. The details from the perfect pink solid arms to the charming print that coordinates. The pleated bottom that wraps around the entire piece to the bunka used to accentuate the curves and line.

If you didn't know green is my favorite color. This gem sparkled from the packaging. It gave me cozy cottage feels with country vibes. So, this piece will be able to transform for many uses and holiday room updates. I can see this in a log cabin, rustic country room scene to a cottage deep in the forest or by the sea.
